Waffles and Meatballs

This is a play on a meatball sub except I didn't have bread so I used waffles instead. Thi was also one of those meals that was legit made from past meals. This literally took me about 15 minutes to cook and no real prep time because everything was already prepared.

Ingredients:
Hamburger/Meatballs from Stuffed Hamburger
2 Waffles from Sporadic Breakfasts
Mozzarella Cheese (Not pictured)
Lettuce (Not pictured)

1) Cook meatballs over medium heat.

2) Add tomato sauce from Chicken Cacciatore with Polenta. I added some water because the sauce was too thick.

3) While meatballs are cooking, heat waffles in a toaster.

4) Layer lettuce on top of waffles. Add meatballs and sauce. Put cheese on top.

Cost breakdown:

  • Meatballs: $1.11 (check Stuffed Hamburger for the full breakdown).
  • Tomato sauce: $0.77 (check Chicken Cacciatore the full breakdown)
  • Waffles: $0.17x2= $0.34 (checkSporadic Breakfast for full breakdown)
  • Mozzarella cheese: $2.84/16= $0.18
  • Lettuce: $0.20/2= $0.10

Total: $1.11+$0.77+$0.34+ $0.18+ $0.10= $2.50
