I’m not a very big breakfast person. I love breakfast food but I tend to lack an
appetite during the mornings but today I was feeling it. And this is where the box of Bisquick* comes
in. But no, I didn't make pancakes. I made waffles!
Nothing fancy here, just followed the recipe on the back of
the box.
2 cups of Bisquick mix
1 1/3 cups milk
1 egg
2 tbsp oil
2 cups of Bisquick mix
1 1/3 cups milk
1 egg
2 tbsp oil
I sliced a banana and simply drizzled some honey on top.
Costs:
Bisquick: $4.29/28 servings=$0.15 per 1/3 cup
$0.15 x 6= $0.90
Eggs: $2.79/12= $0.23/egg
Milk: $2.39/8 cups= $0.30/cup
$0.30 x 1 1/3= $0.40
Bisquick: $4.29/28 servings=$0.15 per 1/3 cup
$0.15 x 6= $0.90
Eggs: $2.79/12= $0.23/egg
Milk: $2.39/8 cups= $0.30/cup
$0.30 x 1 1/3= $0.40
Waffles Total= $0.90+$0.23+$0.40
=$1.53 for 9!
Per Waffle= $1.53/9
= $0.17/waffle
Bananas: $1.93/7= $0.28
=$1.53 for 9!
Per Waffle= $1.53/9
= $0.17/waffle
Bananas: $1.93/7= $0.28
Today’s Total: $0.17+$0.28
=$0.45
=$0.45
P.s. Don’t think the left over waffles are going
to waste! I stuck the rest in the freezer (Leggo ain’t got crap on me) and
they’ll be put to use at another time.
