Another one of those Bisquick meals. Lol.
Ingredients:
- ½ cup Bisquick mix
- Chicken
- Roma Tomato
- Onion
- Spinach
- Mozzarella
1) I forgot to save some tomato sauce so I had to make a
quickie sauce. I chopped up a tomato and half an onion and cooked it slowly in
a small sauce pan. I added some salt and pepper for taste.
2) Combine Bisquick mis with about ¼ cup of hot water. Mix
until a ball forms. Let rest for about 8-10 minutes.
3)Preheat oven to 450 degrees
4)Roll out dough (into any shape you want).
Side note I: I realized I didn’t have a rolling pin… So I used the next best thing.

5)Top with sauce, cheese, spinach, and chicken.
6)Bake for 10~15 minute or until cheese is bubbly/crust is
golden.
Cost break down:
- Bisquick: $0.15/serving x 1.5= $0.23
- A serving is 1/3 cup. ½ cup is 1.5x that.
- Tomato: $0.31
- Onion: $0.20/2= $0.10
- Spinach: 1.80 x a handful: $0.15?
- Mozzarella: $2.84/8= $0.36
- Chicken: Picked off of bones made to use broth. Let’s not make my brain hurt to calculate this?
Total: $0.23+ $0.31+ $0.10+ $0.15+ $0.36= $1.15
